Reptile Realm Station
Slither over to this stop to unearth myths about man-hungry anacondas, 20-metre crocodiles and bloodthirsty cobras and find out why they are now in dire need of our protection and conservation. Let us share with you their astonishing adaptations and secretive lives, tell us your scaly encounters and discover why our world definitely cannot do without these intriguing reptilian residents. If you’re lucky, you might even cross paths with a live python!

Primarily Primates Station
Swing over here for enthralling encounters with a profusion of peculiar primates. Discover the enchantingly colourful world of monkeys and apes, whose existence in the New and Old World are being threatened by mankind today. Bone up on your primate knowledge as you examine myriad interactive tools, such as skulls, scrapbooks, photographs, pelts and x-rays. You can even compare your handprint to that of an orang utan’s.

African Adventure Station
Stalk over to this station where unusual animal specimens will unlock the sensational secrets of prey and predators roaming the amazing African Plains. Tangle with horns and antlers, dabble with dung samples and take the time to stroke some animal skins, from the pristine pelt of a pronking springbok to a fine-haired hippo’s hide. Through our fine collection of skulls, learn about the leopard’s stealth, lion’s might and cheetah’s ability to reach super speeds.

Night Safari Station
Spirit yourself into the nifty, nocturnal world and learn through your heightened senses of sight, smell and touch with the help of preserved specimens, usually sourced right from our grounds! Seek out our free-ranging volunteer rangers who lurk the shadowy trails and they will reveal rare secrets and mesmerising insights into the personalities on each amazing animal of the night, such as the clouded leopard, flying fox and giant flying squirrel.
