Programme Introduction
The Singapore Zoo Docents (SZ Docents) are a group of passionate volunteers whose mission is to complement the educational efforts of the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari through the provision of educational programmes for the visitors on conservation awareness.
The SZ Docents aim to carry out our mission with a high level of professionalism in knowledge, presentation, and conduct to educate and motivate citizens to care for wildlife and to help preserve the biological diversity.
We also desire to promote professional camaraderie with other docent and conservation organizations within and outside Singapore, in order to facilitate cooperative pursuit of our shared goals of protecting and conserving wildlife through education for the benefit of humankind.
