In Danger Station
Track our conservation crusaders down at this station and discover all you can about some of the Earth’s most endangered animals. Find out what’s happening to them, and what you can do to help save these compelling creatures and their vulnerable habitats. The In Danger (ID) station was established in June 2000. The section runs a discovery station that highlights endangered animals and shares important messages with the visitors of why and how they should be conserved. About 10 docents from other sections blazed the trail from its nascent beginnings in May 2000. ID was a popular choice for the trainees that year, and came into its own with 18 members, core and associates, by the end of the year. Since then, ID has focused on a series of endangered species such as primates, sharks, rhinos, elephants, tiger and turtles. ![]() | |
