Dear visitor, the content of the SZDocent library is being streamlined. As these webpages are being phased out in favour of a new template, "missing" images in the older webpages will not be replaced. Webpages on animals that can be encountered at the SZ Docent stations will be completed first, followed by pages on animals found outside the Zoo, and finally the ecosystems.

Whatever your animal question, do email us your questions and we will gladly try to answer them!
Animal Stories Search
We are searching for amazing, funny and wonderful stories of wild animals. If you know of any, share them with us! If we agree that our readers would like them too, we'll contact you adding them to the SZ Docent website and credit you as the author. Who knows you may become our regular contributor!
Photo Talent Search
Gaping yawns of a baboon, bewildered stares of a lemur, a lion leaping in flight, or even the delightful grin of a child stroking a fallabella. These are some fine examples of animal photography that the Docent Web is seeking after. Your submitted photos will credited and used solely for Docent website and collaterals, and they will definitely enhance the browsing experience of visitors who're thus able to match these pictures to the animal facts displayed. Photos of animals which are not found in the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari are welcome too! High-resolution pictures would be appreciated.
